A Season for Change

All things in nature grow and change, and The Farm is no exception.  This beautiful retreat in the open country of Carroll County in Northwest Illinois is evolving, rejuvenating, moving gracefully into the next stage of life.  The Farm has been received into new, loving hands wanting to preserve the best of its peace and serenity while creating a new purpose, and a new life – the next generation.  It will no longer operate as a bed and breakfast, but there are wonderful plans in store.  As winter comes we at The Farm will go into our hibernation to allow plans and dreams to form and be ready to emerge in the spring and summer to come. 
Friends of The Farm, old acquaintances, and new, we ask you to be patient and stay connected to rediscover the renewed sanctuary.
In the meantime we would like to take the opportunity to visit some of the “old days” on The Farm with a historical exploration, a genealogy of sorts, to honor the past as the future unfolds.
